Italian ‘Tifosi’ welcome MXGP

The 2019 Edition of the MXGP of Italy kicked off today with an outstanding signing session which took place today at ‘Villaggio della Salute’ a unique waterpark located on the hillsides between Imola and Bologna. 

The event started with a tasting of typical products from the area and a warm welcome from the founder of the park, Professor Antonio Monti and General Director Graziano Prantoni. The flavour experience was followed by a tour of the park and the signing session that saw hundreds of fans waiting the MXGP, MX2 and WMX riders. 

Italian heroes Gebben Van Venrooy Kawasaki Racing’s Alessandro Lupino, Standing Construct KTM’s Ivo Monticelli and Yamaha SM Action Migliori’s Michele Cervellin, JK Racing’s Manuel Jacopi joined by the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Tom Vialle, Team HRC’ Brian Bogers, Bike It Kawasaki racing’s Gustavo Pessoa, Yamaha SM Action Migliori’s Maxime Renaux, 2T Racing’s Enzo Toriani among others took part at the event and enjoyed the peace and the unforgettable atmosphere of that unique Opening event. Also representatives from the WMX were in attendance such as Courtney Duncan, Larissa Papenmeier and Lynn Valk before heading to the race day of tomorrow. 

The Media Event marked the ideal starting point of the MXGP of Italy which is bound to be an epic round!
