Infront Moto Racing CEO David Luongo: “On behalf of Infront Moto Racing and the whole MXGP family I would like to express our gratitude to be here today. To have back-to-back GPs on these beautiful islands is something unique because we also have the time to visit and experience these stunning places. The whole paddock is excited by those two events as we always feel very welcome here. I would really want to thank the Governor and his team for all the work done and investment made to put those two events together. It is not an easy thing to host a great MXGP event and the result is amazing. We are also here to build long-term relationship. Thank you all for everything you do for MXGP.”
FIM/CMS Director Antonio Alia Portela: “On behalf of the FIM, I would like to thank the Governor, the state’s authorities and everyone that has contributed to organise these two back-to-back events from Sumbawa to Lombok. It has been awesome to have some spare time to be able to explore these islands and we have discovered that Lombok is a beautiful island which offers plenty of opportunities to the visitors. I am speaking, probably, on behalf of the MXGP Family, and I’d like to say that we are going to enjoy coming back to these two places for the coming years. Putting up a reception like this one this evening to welcome us is something that makes us feel very special so we thank you all for that. Finally, I would like to wish the best of luck for all the riders in the races during the weekend.”
West Nusa Tenggara Governor Dr. H. Zulkieflimansyah S.E. M.SC: “Last week I also welcome you in Sumbawa since it is part of West Nusa Tenggara and we are very fortunate to have witnessed very good races at the Samota Circuit in Sumbawa with a very large attendance. We are now in Lombok and I am persuaded that we are going to have again good and interesting races as well. The attendance is expected to be even bigger on top of the national broadcasting that will shine a light on West Nusa Tenggara for the whole country of Indonesia. Hosting a huge even like MXGP can only be beneficial for our development and introduce our island to global audience. Enjoy the races this weekend and enjoy your time in Lombok and Sumbawa and you will hopefully be coming back soon. Thank you.”
