REVO GOES RED, JOINING FORCES WITH GASGAS FOR NEXT TWO YEARS

REVO GASGAS Racing to GET ON THE GAS in British, European and World Motocross Championships in 2024 and 2025

GASGAS is pleased to welcome REVO to the racing fold, under the official team name of REVO GASGAS Racing. Headed up by team owner Mark Yates, co-owner Mark Mackenzie and managed by Sam Yates, the hugely experienced and dedicated team will be getting on the gas after a four-year hiatus from the FIM World Championship, competing in the Dirt Store ACU British Motocross Championship, EMX and MXGP Championships in 2024. The impressive three rider line-up will be piloting a fleet of the latest GASGAS MC 250F and MC 450F machines, with Factory support from Austria ensuring that the team will be primed, pumped and ready for the new season.

Remaining in the REVO camp is the 2023 British MXY2 champion, 16-year-old Billy Askew. Riding a 2024 GASGAS MC 250F, Askew is set to spice up the EMX250 and ACU British MX2 classes in the new season buoyed by his 2023 success. Teammate Ethan Lane will step into the MX2 class in both the World and British Championships. The 18-year-old is well travelled, having raced strongly in the United States over the last few years, and will build on that experience as he takes on this challenge on the REVO GASGAS Racing MC 250F.

Equally eager to GET ON THE GAS, the Brits will share the REVO awning with experienced world championship campaigner and former race winner Brian Bogers. Bogers will line-up behind the gate in both the British Championship and MXGP, joining the big guns aboard the big-hitting GASGAS MC 450F. The experienced 27-year-old Dutchman has a decade of MX2 and MXGP racing muscle memory and is looking forward to a red-hot season in fresh colours and ready to GET ON THE GAS!

Brian Bogers, REVO GASGAS Racing team rider – “I am very pleased to announce that I will be on an Austrian bike again next year as part of the REVO GASGAS Racing team. I am extremely grateful for this opportunity and I am looking forward to getting back to top level together in my first year in British Motocross aboard an MC 450F!”

Billy Askew, REVO GASGAS Racing team rider– “I am really happy to continue riding with the REVO crew and cannot wait to try the new 2024 bikes. I am looking forward to getting on the gas in EMX250 and Pro MX2 next season – hopefully good things to come!”

Ethan Lane, REVO GASGAS Racing team rider– “It is great to be back in Europe! It won’t be long until pre-season training and testing starts and I am really looking forward to trying out these new GASGAS machines alongside my teammates.”

Mark Yates, Joint Team Owner – “We are both excited and privileged to be offered a two-year deal by GASGAS UK to represent the brand in the FIM World Championship. We cannot wait to see how Brian performs back on GASGAS machinery and with the level of manufacturer support we are receiving, we will no doubt see him back at the sharp end! Alongside Brian, we have two talented Brits, Ethan Lane and Billy Askew, creating a strong and balanced team which is sure to get results. It is great to have the old crew back together and it will be an exciting year with GASGAS UK – roll on 2024.”

Diego Clement, Manager of GASGAS Offroad Commercial – “We are happy to work again with REVO and welcome them back on the MXGP stage. Together with GASGAS UK, the goal is to work closely with them to have a strong GASGAS support team in MXGP and the British Championship. We are looking forward to a great season together.”

Matt Walker, Managing Director of GASGAS UK – “GASGAS UK is thrilled to have the REVO team back with us for the new season. This strong team really fits with the GASGAS brand ethos and we are looking forward to seeing how this line-up of talented and strong young riders performs on board the latest GASGAS machinery. It is a great opportunity to showcase our strong product, at the hands of the gifted REVO riders and we are excited to see what the season brings.”
