#82 MXGP Magazine: Going Solo

MONACO (Principality of Monaco) 11th June 2020 – Motocross is not the easiest sport in the world. For any rider to be able to compete at a World Championship level, usually requires a world championship level budget to match. Being part of a team is great, though the majority of the grid is made-up of privateer riders, who essentially go at it alone, with the vital help of sponsors.

In this month’s MXGP Magazine we caught up with three ex-factory riders, Shaun Simpson, Kevin Strijbos and Tanel Leok, who have recently taken the leap of faith and set-up their very own teams, SS24 KTM MXGP, KSRT MX and A1 Motorsport Husqvarna.

To find out more about their decision to take this step, as well as what it takes to make the dream work, read the full feature HERE!
