It's Time for the ACERBIS BEST LAP RECAP!

The MXGP of Lombok hosted the twelfth round of the 2024 FIM Motocross World Championship, and the fastest time clocked in MXGP was by Team HRC's Tim Gajser on lap 4 of Race 1. In MX2, it was Nestaan Husqvarna Factory Racing’s Lucas Coenen who set the fastest lap on lap 2 of Race 1.

In MXGP, Red Bull GASGAS Factory Racing’s Jorge Prado is leading the Acerbis Best Lap competition in MXGP after 12 rounds with 7 Acerbis Best Laps, ahead of and Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Jeffrey Herlings, who has 3 best laps and secured 2 out of the last 3 GPs.

In MX2, Lucas Coenen and Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Andrea Adamo are jointly leading the race this season with 3 best laps each, followed closely by Red Bull GASGAS Factory Racing’s Simon Laengenfelder and and Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Sacha Coenen, both with 2 best laps, demonstrating once again the tight competition in this class.

To remind fans of what the competition consists of: at the end of each event, the fastest rider in MXGP and MX2 will obtain a point. The rider with the most points in each class at the conclusion of the Championship will receive a prize from ACERBIS, which will be awarded at the MXGP Awards.
