FOX Holeshot Competition RECAP !
MXGP is delighted to continue the running of the FOX Holeshot competition through the the 2024 FIM Motocross World Championship season together with Partner FOX. Following the 12th round, here you have a recap on how the comptetion is going so far!
The MXGP of Lombok was held on the challenging track of Selaparang in Indonesia. The FOX Holeshot in Race 1 was clinched by Team HRC’s Tim Gajser, who also secured the FOX Holeshot in Race 2, achieving back-to-back holeshots in Lombok.
Red Bull GASGAS Factory Racing’s Jorge Prado is leading the FOX Holeshot competition with 11, ahead of Tim Gajser, who has 5, with Gajser's recent success narrowing the gap.
In MX2, Red Bull GASGAS Factory Racing’s Simon Laengenfelder took both FOX Holeshots in Lombok, bringing his total to 5. However it is Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Sacha Coenen who is leading the competition with an impressive 11, matching Prado's achievement in MXGP.
To remind fans of how the competition works: 1 point is awarded per MXGP and MX2 Championship race. The first rider who crosses the white line painted on the ground at the exit of the first corner will be given a point. At the end of the season, the 2 riders—one per category—with the most FOX Holeshot points will win a mega prize.
