Fox Holeshot Films – MXGP of Czech Republic

MONACO (Principality of Monaco) 27 July 2021 – MXGP is thrilled to continue the Fox Holeshot competition, that is running throughout the 2021 FIM Motocross World Championship season, together with MXGP partner Fox.

How does the competition work?

During both MXGP and MX2 races, the rider who crosses the white line painted on the ground at the exit of the first corner will be awarded 1 point. At the end of the season, the 2 riders, one per category, with the most Fox Holeshot points will win the mega prize!

During the MXGP of Czech Republic, it was Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Jorge Prado and Mattia Guadagnini who were fast out of the gate and into the first corner as the pair secured the Fox Holeshot in MXGP and MX2 race one, on their way to race victories.

For the second MXGP race, Prado was able to repeat his start success to take the second Fox Holeshot on his way to his first Grand Prix victory of 2021, while in MX2 it was Thibault Benistant of Monster Energy Yamaha Factory Racing who received his second black plate of the season, as he led the race from start to chequered flag, to make his first ever MX2 podium appearance.

As it stands, Jorge Prado edges out in the competition with five points, ahead of Monster Energy Kawasaki Racing Team’s Romain Febvre who has three, while in MX2, it’s Simon Längenfelder of Diga Procross GasGas Factory Racing and Monster Energy Yamaha Factory Racing’s Jago Geerts and Thibault Benistant in joint first with two points each

MXGP Fox Holeshot Classifications
