Fox Holeshot Films – MXGP of Sardegna

MONACO (Principality of Monaco) 20 September 2021 – MXGP is thrilled to continue the Fox Holeshot competition, that is running throughout the 2021 FIM Motocross World Championship season, together with MXGP partner Fox.

How does the competition work?

During both MXGP and MX2 races, the rider who crosses the white line painted on the ground at the exit of the first corner will be awarded 1 point. At the end of the season, the 2 riders, one per category, with the most Fox Holeshot points will win the mega prize!

During the MXGP of Sardegna the starts were once again dominated by Red Bull KTM Factory Racing. This time around Jeffrey Herlings was the recipient of the Fox Holeshot in race one, while Jorge Prado was quick out of the gate in race two and claimed the second one. Meanwhile in MX2, Tom Vialle was undefeated in both races and the two Fox Holeshot’s helped him on his way to a third consecutive GP victory.

Jorge Prado leads the MXGP Fox Holeshot classifications with 10 holeshots, five points ahead of Monster Energy Kawasaki Racing Team’s Romain Febvre. Meanwhile in MX2, it’s Tom Vialle with the most points (7), four points ahead of Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Mattia Guadagnini.

The Fox Holeshot competition will continue at the MXGP of Germany in a couple of weeks’ time at round 11 of the FIM Motocross World Championship!
