Fox Holeshot Films – MXGP of Pietramurata

PIETRAMURATA (Italy) 28 October 2021 – MXGP is thrilled to continue the Fox Holeshot competition, that is running throughout the 2021 FIM Motocross World Championship season, together with MXGP partner Fox.

How does the competition work?

During both MXGP and MX2 races, the rider who crosses the white line painted on the ground at the exit of the first corner will be awarded 1 point. At the end of the season, the 2 riders, one per category, with the most Fox Holeshot points will win the mega prize!

During the MXGP of Pietramurata, once again Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Tom Vialle continued to show just how strong he is in the starts as he took both of the Fox Holeshot. The Frenchman went on to win the first race, while in race two he was unlucky and did not finish the heat.

Meanwhile in MXGP, we saw Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Jorge Prado secure his 14^th Fox Holeshot in the first heat, while in race two, his teammate Antonio Cairoli pulled a huge Fox Holeshot as he led the race from gate drop to chequered flag. The 9-time World Champion went on to win the second heat and secure his 94^th Grand Prix victory in front of his home crowd.

Despite having another tough Grand Prix, Prado still leads the Fox Holeshot classification in MXGP with 14 points, eight points ahead of Monster Energy Kawasaki Racing Team’s Romain Febvre, while Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Jeffrey Herlings is third with four. And in MX2, it’s Vialle with a huge 17 points, 14 ahead of Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Mattia Guadagnini and Monster Energy Yamaha Factory Racing’s Maxime Renaux.
