FOX HOLESHOT | MXGP OF ITALY
MXGP is delighted to continue the running of the FOX Holeshot competition through the eightteenth round of the 2023 FIM Motocross World Championship season together with MXGP Partner FOX.
The MXGP of Italy took place in hiatoric Maggiora. The both FOX Holeshot were clinched by Red Bull GASGAS Factory Racing’s Jorge Prado who got his 13th and 14th FOX Holeshots.
Jorge Prado increase the gap on Monster Energy Yamaha factory MXGP Team’s Jeremy Seewer who has 11th and Kawasaki Racing Team’ Romain Febvre is third with 4 in total.
In MX2, it was the same as Red Bull GASGAS Factory Racing’s Simon Laengenfelder clinched both FOX Holeshots in a great weekend for the German.
Simon Laengenfelder increases his lead in the competition, especially on Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MX2 Team’s Jago Geerts who has 7 FOX Holeshots.
The way it works is that 1 point is awarded per MXGP and MX2 Championship race. The first rider who crosses the white line painted on the ground at the exit of the first corner will be given a point. At the end of the season the 2 riders - one per category - with the most FOX Holeshot points will win a mega prize
