GALFER CONTINUES PARTNERING WITH MXGP AND PRESENTS ITS RIDER LINE-UP
BARILOCHE (Patagonia-Argentina) 5 March 2026 – Infront Moto Racing is delighted to announce that Galfer, a global leader in high-performance braking systems, will continue supporting the prestigious MXGP – FIM Motocross World Championship for the 2026 season.
Being an official partner of such an iconic championship represents for Galfer not only an important opportunity for global visibility, but also a fundamental testing ground for the continuous development and innovation of its products. Every circuit, every race and every challenge faced by the riders provides valuable technical data that allows the brand to further improve the safety, reliability and performance of Galfer braking systems, reinforcing its commitment to motorsport excellence.
For the 2026 season, Galfer will support riders from several leading international and Italian teams, backing both MXGP protagonists and emerging talents from the MX2 category. Among the standout names are the riders of the Ducati Factory Racing MXGP — Jeremy Seewer, Andrea Bonacorsi, and Calvin Vlaanderen — alongside Simone Mancini and Ferruchio Zanchi from Team Beddini Racing Ducati Factory MX2.
Galfer will also accompany Alberto Forato and Brent Van Doninck with Fantic Factory Team, Jago Geerts and Rick Elzinga with MRT Racing Team Beta, as well as Isak Gifting with Yamaha JK Racing Team.

In the women’s category, the presence of Kiara Fontanesi, six-time WMX World Champion, continues together with the addition of current WMX World Champion Lotte Van Drunen, further strengthening Galfer’s position within elite women’s motocross.
Overall, 14 teams, 42 riders and 13 nationalities will represent Galfer throughout the season across the championship’s main disciplines — MXGP, MX2, EMX250, EMX125 and WMX.
Within the technical development process of the Ducati motocross project, the valuable experience of Tony Cairoli, a true reference figure in Ducati MX development, brings significant technical, sporting and human value to the program.
Excellence in braking technology with Galfer Wave and Disc Shark® brake discs
To tackle the demands of the season, Galfer riders will rely on the brand’s most advanced braking technology. Depending on race conditions, they will choose between the iconic Wave brake discs, recognized for their distinctive design and powerful, consistent and highly modulable braking, and the innovative Disc Shark® discs, developed to withstand the most extreme thermal stresses under any track condition.
All riders will also use the Racing G1396R sintered brake pads, developed with an advanced compound introduced in 2024 and scheduled to become available to all enthusiasts in 2026. This combination guarantees maximum performance, control and reliability, even in the most demanding environments of international motocross competition.
