MXGP Academy Activities in Loket, Czech Republic

The MXGP Academy is taking place for the fifth time in 2023 at the MXGP of Czech Republic at Loket this weekend. It provided a chance for ambitious young motocross riders to gather and hone their talents while learning what it needed to compete professionally in the FIM Motocross World Championship.
The youngsters learned from the experienced Jan Postema, Martin van Genderen and John van de Berk as well as local trainers throughout Friday and Saturday.
On Friday, the MXGP Academy began with a briefing for riders and parents, followed by a rider education session where they learned more about safety rules, such as flag signals, as well as further instruction from the coaches.
Following the rider training, the parents were educated and instructed on the significance of communication as well as how to combine verbal and nonverbal methods. The day concluded with a riding session in which riders were able to practice and ride to learn as much as possible about riding techniques.
The youngsters got the opportunity to have special access to the paddock on Saturday morning, and were fortunate to enjoy a tour of the outstanding facilities of Team HRC, as well as the Red Bull Hospitality. They also took this opportunity to visit the structure of the Monster Energy Rig to give them an idea of the whole MXGP paddock.
There will be three more MXGP Academy coaching opportunities during the 2023 season in Finland, The Netherlands and Turkyie.
