MXGP AND ATHENA STRENGTHEN LONG-TERM PARTNERSHIP FOR THE 2026 SEASON

MONACO (Principality of Monaco) 25 February 2026 – The partnership between MXGP and Athena continues in 2026 as a long-term collaboration built on shared values of technology, performance and on-track development at the highest level of motocross.

MXGP remains a strategic global platform for GET to test, validate and evolve its electronic solutions at the top-level racing conditions, working directly alongside factory teams, riders and engineers. The collaboration not only delivers strong brand visibility across key international motorcycle markets, but also strengthens relationships in the paddock, supported by the consistent presence of Athena and GET customers and partners at MXGP events worldwide.

SX1 PRO ECU

At the core of the 2026 partnership is the GET SX1 PRO ECU, now widely recognised as a benchmark electronic control unit in professional motocross. Its growing presence and credibility in the MXGP paddock come from consistent use by factory and independent teams, continuous development in real race conditions, and direct feedback from top-level riders and engineers.

MXGP serves as a true on-track test bench, allowing the SX1 PRO to be continuously developed, refined and validated alongside some of the best riders in the world.
