MXGP OF CASTILLA LA MANCHA PRESENTED IN HISTORIC PALACIO DEL MARQUÉS DE SANTA CRUZ
COZAR (Spain) 28 September 2024 – In a display of both cultural significance and motocross excellence, the MXGP of Castilla La Mancha was officially presented yesterday evening at the Palacio del Marqués de Santa Cruz, a stunning 16th-century Italian-style building in the historic town of Visó del Marqués.
This presentation launched the weekend, as Cózar prepares to bring the MXGP series to the heart of Spain for the FIM Motocross World Championship final round. This event will be the thrilling final round of the 2024 season, where four champions will be crowned across the MXGP, MX2, EMX250 and EMX125 Presented by FMF Racing classes, concluding what has been an incredibly exciting season.
The event was attended by CEO of Infront Moto Racing, David Luongo, FIM/CMS DirectorAntonio Alia, Vice President of the Federación Castellano Manchega de Motociclismo Angel Buitrago and Mayor of Terrinches Isabel García Jiménez. They all took the stage to emphasise the significance of the event and the profound impact it is expected to have on both the local community and the global motocross scene.
Each speaker highlighted the importance of bringing such a prestigious event to Castilla La Mancha, noting its potential to not only showcase the region’s rich cultural heritage but also to be the place where all eyes from the motocross world will be looking at this weekend.
