MXGP Physiotherapy Centre – The Man with the healing hands

Motocross is an extremely demanding sport, one that requires athletes to be in top shape at all times. While protective gear, track preparation, as well as safety measures have increased phenomenally in recent years, accidents and injuries can still happen.

The FIM Motocross World Championship is the pinnacle of the sport with the world’s best riders making up the very competitive line-up every weekend and in order to be their best, these world-class athletes, require world-class care and the man helping them keep on top of their game is, Thierry Sarasyn.

Thierry Sarasyn and his Mobile Physiotherapy Centre has been a part of the MXGP since 2014. The physio centre is made-up of a team of highly trained physiotherapists working alongside the medical team of doctors to provide the best possible care for all the riders onsite at the GP’s.

In the 76th issue of the MXGP Mag we caught up with the man himself, to find out more about what he does, the importance of bracing and how this opportunity came about.
