MXGP SHOWCASES THE THRILL OF MOTOCROSS AT THE CHINA INTERNATIONAL MOTORCYCLE EXPO

CHONGQING (China) – From 19 to 22 September, the 23rd edition of the China International Motorcycle Expo took centre stage at the Chongqing International Expo Center, welcoming more than 250,000 visitors over four exciting days. Among the major highlights of the event was the strong presence of MXGP, which brought the spirit and energy of the Monster Energy FIM Motocross World Championship to thousands of fans and industry professionals.

Just one week after the spectacular MXGP of China – Shanghai held on 13 -14 September, the championship continued to make headlines with its showcase at the Expo. The MXGP booth captured the attention of visitors with thrilling race footage, displays of the event’s most iconic moments, and the unmistakable roar of motocross action. The booth became a central hub for fans eager to relive the atmosphere of the Shanghai round and learn more about what’s to come next season.

The timing of the event coincided with an unforgettable milestone, the crowning of Romain Febvre as the 2025 MXGP World Champion, marking his long-awaited return to glory ten years after his first title in 2015. Supported by Just1, part of the HWH Group, Febvre’s triumph was celebrated at the Expo, with visitors joining in the excitement of this historic achievement.

Fans at the Expo were also treated to engaging on-site activities, giveaways, and promotional materials that highlighted MXGP’s dynamic growth in China. The interactive experience allowed visitors to immerse themselves in the world of professional motocross and express their enthusiasm for the sport’s return to the country. Many visitors shared their excitement about attending future editions of the MXGP of China, further proving the growing passion for motocross across the region.

By joining forces with the China International Motorcycle Expo, MXGP successfully extended the momentum of the Shanghai round, strengthening its connection with local fans and expanding its influence across both the Chinese and international motorcycle communities.
