PRESENTATION OF MAGLIA AZZURRA IN MAGGIORA DURING THE MXGP OF ITALY

The presentation of the Italian Racing Jersey "Maglia Azzurra" is, every year, one of the most anticipated moments of the season.
The national team's uniform was unveiled in Maggiora, during the MXGP of Italy of the FIM World Motocross Championship, first in front of the national and international press, and then, in the afternoon, in front of hundreds of fans during the paddock show where the Italian anthem was also entoned spontaneously byt the fans and the italian riders alike.
Federal Councilor Armando Sponga, FMI Motocross Committee Coordinator Roberto Rustichelli, FMI Technical Commissioner Thomas Traversini, and 2023 MX2 World Champion Andrea Adamo presented the Maglia Azzurra at the media meeting.
In the afternoon, the public admired the jersey unveiled by Roberto Rustichelli, Thomas Traversini and riders Andrea Adamo, Mattia Guadagnini, Valerio Lata and Ferruccio Zanchi all athletes who have already worn the Magglia Azzurra in the national team.
Graphically, the word "Italia" is elegant and well-readable on the front of the jersey; on the back, a stylized tricolor line stands out, wrapping around the name and number of the rider.
Giovanni Copioli, FMI President: "With the presentation in Maggiora, the Maglia Azzurra season has officially started, which will see us engaged in the major national team competitions of all offroad specialties. Italy is always one of the most anticipated teams, and this fills us with pride. It's thanks to the talents of our riders, their desire to wear this Jersey, and our continuous search for talent, along with the entire Italian motorcycle system. In 2024, we will again defend several successes and podiums achieved last year: a great responsibility that drives us to always give our best both on and off the track."
