Ride Quiet Campaign, YouthStream & FIM join forces to raise noise awareness

LOSAIL (Qatar), 27 February 2015 - As the 2015 FIM Motocross World Championship season is poised to start, Youthstream and FIM are pleased to launch a new campaign entitled “Ride Quiet!”.

The purpose of the campaign is to create awareness of the need to reduce sound levels. Based on the FIM’s sustainability policy, it is aimed at the FIM’s Continental Unions and National Federations and their members as well as the many amateur riders all over the world.

Very often, the sound produced by motorcycle activities can become a nuisance to people living nearby. This can lead to protest actions and eventually the closing of a circuit that has been there for many years. To avoid this, we need to ensure that our sport does not antagonise the local community!

Youthstream and FIM have produced a video clip with the participation of several top riders to encourage off-road riding and help to preserve it for future generations to enjoy. If we care about our sport, we must do what it takes to ensure that young riders can follow in the tyre tracks of their elders and heroes.

So if you are a motorcycle enthusiast, please join us and support this campaign on your social media and digital platforms.

Watch the video and Ride Quiet!
