Dear MXGP Fans,
The Royal House of Savoy is pleased to announce a prestigious partnership with the Kawasaki Racing Team MXGP, the leading team in the FIM MXGP Motocross World Championship. Starting from the 2025 season, the team's bikes will proudly bear the Savoy coat of arms, symbol of a unique cultural and historical heritage.
A team of excellence
The Kawasaki Racing Team MXGP, led by team principal Kimi Räikkönen, a former Formula 1 world champion, represents one of the most successful and respected teams in the motocross world. With top riders such as Romain Febvre, Pauls Jonass and the young talent Mathis Valin for the new MX2 project, the team is distinguished by its dedication to excellence and its continuous pursuit of new goals.
A passion that unites
This collaboration celebrates a shared passion for motor sports, a bond that has its roots in the history of the Royal House of Savoy. Since the early 1900s, members of the Savoia family have supported the development of the Italian motorsport sector, contributing to the growth of sporting competitions and the spread of sporting values. This association represents a natural continuation of that tradition by promoting sport as a vehicle of universal values and a source of inspiration.
An ever-stronger link with motocross
The link of the Royal House of Savoy with the Motocross World Championship has been consolidated in recent years. After Emanuele Filiberto's official visit to the MXGP Italian Grand Prix in 2023, in 2024 the Royal House of Savoy supported a private team, which competed in the colours of the Savoy coat of arms. The year 2025 marks a new chapter in this prestigious history of collaboration with the world of motocross.
A symbol of universal values
The Savoy coat of arms will accompany the Kawasaki Racing Team MXGP in this exciting new season. A union that underlines the importance of sport as a tool to create connections, promote excellence and passion.
With this initiative, the Royal House of Savoy renews its support for sport, confirming the value of a legacy that looks to the future with pride and determination.
Antti Pyrhönen, Team Manager Kawasaki Racing Team MXGP:
“We are honored with this opportunity to partner with The Royal House of Savoy and represent their symbol on our racing bikes. We will make it our mission to accomplish a successful MXGP season together”.
