SPANISH GRAND PRIX KICKS OFF WITH MXGP RIDERS GREETED BY FANS AT INTU XANADU MALL

ARROYOMOLINOS (Spain) 22 March 2024 - The whole paddock is ready for the first European round of the year, the MXGP of Spain at intu-Xanadú Arroyomolinos, and after today’s Start Practice session many of the top riders could switch off from the anticipation of the race at an event in the nearby intu-Xanadú Shopping Mall and SnoZone Ski Slope, organised by the local promoters and followed by a chance to meet the fans and sign autographs for the many avid supporters that came to catch a glimpse of their heroes before the real action begins.

The event was very popular as many riders were present for the occasion such as home hero, Red Bull GASGAS Factory Racing’s Jorge Prado and Simon LaengenfelderTeam HRC’s Tim Gajser and Ferruccio ZanchiRed Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Jeffrey Herlings and Andrea Adamo, Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MX2 Team’s Rick Elzinga and andrea Bonacorsi, Monster Energy Triumph’s Mikkel Haarup and Camden McLellan along with RFME GasGas MX Junior Team’s Daniela Guillen, Fantic Factory Racing MX2 Team’s David Braceras and WZ Racing’s Oriol Oliver also enjoyed their visit to the popular Madrilene Shopping Mall. 

The riders were impressed by the immense Snozone Ski Slope within the Mall, put their hands on the snow bikes on offer and taking a family photo in the snow. 

The visit concluded with a signing session which was packed with fans who arrived at the very start of the GP weekend to get a selfie and a signed poster with the stars of the paddock. The whole event had a great atmosphere and of course the Spanish riders were the most in-demand, happy to be talking with fans in their native tongue for the second straight race weekend! 

           

As always, the Spanish fans add their excitement and passion to the MXGP experience, and the Grand Prix of Spain at intu-Xanadú Arroyomolinos promises to deliver an incredible atmosphere with home riders at the forefront of MXGP in 2024!
