TEAM MXoN NL PODIUM CONTENDER MOTOCROSS OF NATIONS

The Netherlands will appear behind the starting gate of the Motocross of Nations (MXoN) in France with a formidable team: Jeffrey Herlings, Kay de Wolf, and Roan van de Moosdijk will defend the orange honor from October 4-6 in Ernée.

The Motocross of Nations (MXoN) is the annual world championship for national teams. The three selected riders compete for the joint title in their own class (MXGP, MX2, MX Open).

TeamNL for MXoN 2026:

- Jeffrey Herlings

- Kay de Wolf

- Roan van de Moosdijk

MXGP: Kay de Wolf

Kay won the MX2 class at the MXoN two years in a row. With four podium finishes and many top-five results already this season, he is demonstrating as a former MX2 world champion in his debut year that he immediately belongs among the very best in the MXGP. MX2: Roan van de Moosdijk

Roan is having a strong season with multiple top-ten results in the MXGP class. Moreover, he clinched the title last weekend in the highly competitive German ADAC MX Masters championship.

MX Open: Jeffrey Herlings

With his speed and dominance, Jeffrey is once again taking the MXGP to an even higher level. The five-time world champion is comfortably leading the MXGP standings after ten GP victories. He can seal that supremacy this coming weekend during the Grand Prix of Turkey.

World title and podium chances

Ahead of the MXoN in early October, Herlings and De Wolf face a busy race schedule with great chances of success. For Jeffrey, as mentioned, that means a world title. For Kay de Wolf, podium finishes are still within reach in the three final GPs. Roan has been focusing entirely on the MXoN throughout September.
