Tim Gajser forced to miss the MXoN

World Champion Tim Gajser will be forced to miss this weekend’s Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations presented by FIAT Professional at Maggiora after a crash earlier this week. 

The crash happened whilst Tim was practicing at home in Slovenia on Wednesday, and whilst it was only small, the 20-year-old was taken to hospital for precautionary checks with heavy bruising.

He was released without any treatment being deemed necessary, and was still focused on competing this weekend.

Right up until the last hour he was hoping to line up behind the gate for Team Slovenia, but upon further consultation with his regular doctor today, the doctor ordered an absolut rest to allow him to recover.

Updates on Tim’s return to racing will be shared as they become available.
