WMX TRACK WALK KICKS OFF THE SEASON FINALE IN DARWIN

DARWIN (Australia) 20 September 2025 – The final round of the FIM Women’s Motocross World Championship wrapped up with a standout edition of WMX Track Walk that was presented by Infront Moto Racing and the FIM Women's Commission, underscoring the initiative’s continued success in building community, sharing knowledge and empowering women in motocross.

Thirteen WMX riders gathered on Friday to walk the Darwin circuit that was designed and built by Protraxx, getting a first-hand look at the track alongside an impressive lineup of hosts. Leading the group was Protraxx Founder Josh Proctor, the mastermind behind the Australian layout, joined by a mix of national heroes and international stars. Quad Lock Honda Racing’s Charlie Cannon and Raceline Husqvarna’s Todd Waters represented the local talent, proudly showcasing their home terrain. Adding global perspective were MX-Handel Husqvarna Racing’s Kevin Brumann and Monster Energy Yamaha Factory Racing’s Rick Elzinga and Karlis Reisulis.

The walk sparked valuable discussion as the riders and guests explored the circuit's technical sections and conditions. For the Australians, it was a chance to showcase their country on home soil and share their local knowledge; for the international riders, it was a welcome opportunity to gain insights and soak in the local environment, community and culture.

Beyond the jumps and berms, what stood out most was the sense of unity. While each rider arrived with the competitive fire to win, they also shared a deep passion for the sport and many of the same challenges. The WMX Track Walk continues to evolve into much more than a pre-race tradition. It has become a vital space for mentorship, collaboration, support and connection across borders, teams and generations.

With Darwin marking the final stop of the 2025 WMX season, the impact of this initiative has never been more evident. As the championship season concludes, the WMX Track Walk remains a cornerstone of the Infront Moto Racing and the FIM Women’s Commission shared vision: to support, uplift and grow the global women’s motocross community one meaningful step at a time.
