ACERBIS BEST LAP SET BY PRADO AND LAENGENFELDER IN FINLAND

It’s time for Acerbis Best Lap! The MXGP of Finland was held at Vantaa for the fourteenth round of 2023 FIM Motocross World Championship.

The finnish track gave some challenges for the riders over the weekend but it was the overall second, Red Bull GASGAS Factory Racing's Jorge Prado who set the fastest lap in MXGP on the Lap 3 of Race 2. This was the sixth time of the season for Prado as he leads the competition with six fastest lap for the season in front of Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Jeffrey Herlings who has four.

In MX2 it was Red Bull GASGAS Factory Racing's Simon Laengenfelder who set the fastest lap. Laengenfelder finished second overall but showed a blistering pace in race 2 as he made a charged from the back to finish 2nd. He set the fastest lap on on Lap 4 of Race 2. This was Laengenfeler second fastest lap of the season.  Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MX2 Team’s Jago Geerts keeps leading the competition with 5 best laps in front of Red Bull KTM Factiory Racing Andrea Adamo with 3.

In order to remind fans of what the competition consists of; at the end of each event, the fastest rider in MXGP and MX2 will obtain a point. The rider with the most points in each class at the conclusion of the Championship will receive a prize from ACERBIS, which will be awarded at the MXGP Awards.
