2020 FIM Motocross World Championship Calendar Update & 2020 Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations cancelled

MONACO (Principality of Monaco) 29 July 2020 – Infront Moto Racing regrets to inform that the 2020 Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations scheduled to take place on the 25th – 26th and 27th of September in Matterley Basin, Great Britain, has been cancelled.

Despite all the efforts from the local organiser (Steve Dixon) and Infront Moto Racing, there is no other viable options but to cancel the 2020 edition of MXoN due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Additionally, Infront Moto Racing have received information from nearly all of the non-European teams normally attending the event that due to COVID-19 complications of travel and quarantine protocols, they will not be able to take part in this year’s event.

Therefore, taking all these factors into consideration and with the goal to coordinate the greatest off-road event of the year at a very high level, Infront Moto Racing and the FIM have arrived to the conclusion to cancel the event and look forward to a phenomenal Monster Energy FIM MXoN in 2021!

With the MXGP of Winchester planned to be held together with the MXoN, this GP event will now take place on the 30th of September in Mantova as the MXGP of Città di Mantova featuring a back-to-back MXGP race in Mantova, which will place on September the 30th and October the 4th.

The updated Calendar can be downloaded by clicking HERE

Infront Moto Racing and the FIM would like to thank the Organizers, National Federations, the manufacturers, partners, riders, teams and fans for their cooperation, patience, understanding and support.

UFO Plast starts a new course projecting itself into the future

UFO Plast launches a corporate renewal process through the presentation of a new communication system, in order to build a different dialogue with their supporters and better communicate the brand and quality of the Made In Italy products.

On 15 July 2020, a new phase begins for the historic brand from Bientina, Italy. After months of work thanks to a collaboration between all company departments and some of the best communication professionals active in Italy.
UFO Plast focuses on a new coordinated image, a new website, and new communication on social media to present the company in a more innovative way and to best communicate the ‘Made in UFO’ quality and philosophy that has made the brand an off-road icon around the world.

“We are experiencing a very important historic moment made up of challenges
and changes and we at UFO Plast want to face it with all the Italian character that distinguishes us “ says Simone Consoloni, CEO of UFO Plast.
I strongly wanted a change of company pace that would enhance the presence
of our ‘Made in Italy’ abroad and, to make it happen, we have invested a lot of energy in developing better communication with our supporters. We have always thought that the quality of UFO products was not properly communicated, hence the decision to move toward a new image and a new communication, to expand to new markets such as the United States.” – Simone Consoloni, CEO

The campaign, promoted all over the world, will begin with the launch of the new website which will greatly improve the user experience and speed up navigation
on all devices.
The concept that guides the new coordinated image of UFO is the existence of two di erent dimensions; one visible and known, the other to be explored - towards which the sport, passion, and desire for adventure push us every day.

UFO Plast, with its equipment, gives access to this new unexplored dimension, made of inclusiveness, of people able to see things not everyone can see and do things that nobody dares to face. The new graphics and a new communication line will be launched on Social Media through an unconventional strategy that will introduce a more interactive and captivating way of corporate storytelling.

“This is only the beginning of a new phase that will a ect the brand in the
coming years. During the lockdown we worked tirelessly on this appointment.
We have accelerated to give our supporters more usable platforms, to optimize communication, and stay closer to those who want to seriously live their passion.
We will dialogue more with our audience, we will welcome them even more within the UFO universe, where the quality and durability of the products are a sureness and in which we all share a passion for challenges.” says Luca Di Pasquale, marketing manager of the company.

In a constantly evolving global market, new challenges are not lacking and UFO Plast is about to take them on in a whole new way.

MXGP of Latvia - Timetable & Entry Lists

Infront Moto Racing is excited to share the official Timetable & Entry Lists for the MXGP of Latvia!

The MXGP of Latvia will host the first of three events on the 8-9th of August, due to take place at the hard sand circuit of Kegums, as the FIM Motocross World Championship makes its much awaited return following a five-month break.

The Latvian triple header will also see the second, third and fourth round of the EMX250 Championship, along with the three opening rounds of the brand-new EMX Open class!

Last year the MXGP of Latvia saw three riders in the MXGP class finish on the exact same points, but Team HRC Tim Gajser’s win in the second race gave him the upper hand to take to the top step of the podium, while Romain Febvre and Arnaud Tonus settled for second and third. Meanwhile in MX2 it was Red Bull KTM Factory’s Jorge Prado who took a double race win and the overall, followed by Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MX2 pilot Jago Geerts and Thomas Kjer Olsen of Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory.

Now with teams and riders spending the last five months working on being even better for the re-start of the season, there is no doubt that the level of competition this year at the Latvia Grand Prix will be even more intense.

To see the list of EMX250, EMX Open, MX2 and MXGP riders who will be lining up at the 2020 MXGP of Latvia in Kegums, check out the lists below while by clicking HERE you can download the Timetable of the event!

Teutschenthal confirmed to host the MXGP of Germany until 2027!

MONACO (Principality of Monaco) 21 July 2020 – Infront Moto Racing is pleased to announce an extension of the contract with Motorsportclub Teutschenthal which will see the MXGP of Germany, Teutschenthal, being part of the FIM Motocross World Championship MXGP Calendar until 2027.

The MXGP of Germany hosted its very first motocross world championship race back in 1971 and since then has become a regular on the MXGP racing calendar, hosting many exciting races as well as the fantastic Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations.

The hard-pack circuit features the iconic hillside which offers the best view of the entire track and has hosted thousands of spectators and amazing races through the years. Past winners of the German Grand Prix include the likes of the legends such as Joel Smets, Stefan Everts, Mickael Pichon, and more recent winners Ken Roczen, Jeffrey Herlings and Antonio Cairoli, plus many more.

Though the MXGP of Germany will not be on the calendar this season, the much-anticipated event has been postponed to 2021 and we are looking forward to welcoming you all to Teutschenthal next year.

David Luongo, Infront Moto Racing CEO: “We are delighted to confirm the extension of the collaboration with Teutschenthal until 2027. The Talkessel track is in the heart of all MXGP fans, a beautiful circuit that offer every year spectacular racing thanks to its special design, visible by everybody. I have a special thought to Joachim Jahnke that passed away last week and all his family who have been a big part of the success of the GP and I would like to thank Andreas Kosbahn and all his team for all those years of collaboration, despite the hard time we are living, we always felt united and this extension is the confirmation that the best is in front of us.”

Andreas Kosbahn, Motorsportclub Teutschenthal CEO: “We are very happy about the extension of the contract with Infront Moto Racing until 2027. We have been an integral part of the FIM Motocross World Championship calendar since the nineties and have been working in a spirit of trust ever since, from the Action Group times until now. Together we have improved the quality of the event enormously, to offer riders, teams and fans even better conditions. The unequaled highlight so far was the 2013 edition of the Monster Energy FIM MXoN in front of 85,000 spectators. I would like to take the opportunity to thank Infront Moto Racing management and the whole team for the faith, especially in these unusual times. We keep fighting very hard to welcome everybody again at the legendary Talkessel track of Teutschenthal in 2021.”
