MONACO (Principality of Monaco) 16 March 2020 – Infront Moto Racing would like to inform that the MXGP racing calendar has seen further changes. Due to the global outbreak of the coronavirus, public safety of all involved has been put at the forefront which means certain events have been forced to be pushed back to a later date. 

MXGP of France due to take place on the 9^th/10^th of May will now be moved to the end of June and will go ahead in St.Jean d’Angely on the 27^th/28^th of June. This change means that also the MXGP of Indonesia in Jakarta will now move from June to 31^st October/1^st November. Meanwhile the second round of the Indonesian trip will be held as the MXGP of Asia on November the 7^th/8^th, whose location will be announced shortly.

These new updates of the 2020 FIM Motocross World Championship Calendar were possible thanks to the complete cooperation with the local organisers, Motoclub Angerien, PT Supersport Sensasion International (SSS) and Lightning Production and PT ARENA SIRKUIT INDONESIA, the national federations and the governments, along with the FIM and FIM Europe.

The official MXGP-TV official YouTube channel has reached an awesome milestone of 100 million views!

Since launching back in 2013, the MXGP-TV channel now boasts over 221,000 subscribers from all over the world and features over 5,400 videos that have now been watched over 100 million times! The channel showcases all of the best race action, highlights, exclusive team reports, welcome messages from all the beautiful places that we visit and much, much more exclusive content.

In 2019, the MXGP-TV YouTube channel reached new heights, gaining over 58,000 new subscribers and 21 million views, with views from uploads that year resulting in over 1.4 million watch time in hours!

MONACO (Principality of Monaco) 12 March 2020 – Infront Moto Racing regrets to inform about a further update on the 2020 FIM Motocross World Championship calendar as the MXGP of Spain and the MXGP of Portugal have been postponed.

Originally scheduled on the 18^th - 19^th of April, the MXGP of Spain will now be postponed to the 10^th – 11^th of October, meanwhile the MXGP of Portugal foreseen on 25^th – 26^th of April will now be taking place on the 17^th – 18^th of October.

The decision to postpone both events to a later date in the year was made in agreement with the FIM, FIM Europe, the local authorities and both organizers, Last Lap as local organizer of the MXGP of Spain and Águeda Action Club – ACTIB as organizer of the MXGP of Portugal.

Due to the international situation because of the coronavirus outbreak, Infront Moto Racing would like to focus on the health of all the people involved and to keep the risk of impact low for the 2020 MXGP Calendar schedule.

MONACO (Principality of Monaco) 11 March 2020 – Infront Moto Racing is glad to inform that a new date for the MXGP of Patagonia - Argentina, which was recently postponed, can now be revealed as it’s bound to be held in Neuquen on November 21^st and 22^nd 2020.

Infront Moto Racing along with the FIM, the local organiser +Eventos SA, as well as the Argentinian authorities have worked close to find an alternative date for this event. This new date will now see the FIM Motocross World Championship calendar extend, but this change was necessary in order to preserve the championship programme as much as possible.

MONACO (Principality of Monaco) 10 March 2020 - Infront Moto Racing sadly informs that due to the coronavirus outbreak, the MXGP of Patagonia - Argentina, scheduled on March the 21^st and 22^nd has also been postponed. The new date for the Argentinian round will be announced shortly.

Owing to a decision of the Argentinian Minister of Health to postpone any international events during this particular moment, Infront Moto Racing, in agreement with the FIM and the local organiser +Eventos SA, as well as the Argentinian authorities, is enforced to postpone the MXGP of Patagonia in Argentina to a later date in the year.

Infront Moto Racing along with the FIM and the national organizers are working very close to preserve the health of all those involved in the FIM Motocross World Championship as well as the Championship programme as much as they can; the aim is to find a feasible date that will see the MXGP calendar extend in 2020. More information on an exact date will be announced very soon.

The International situation has been monitored on a daily basis by the Promoter of the FIM Motocross World Championship and the FIM. More details on the new date will be released shortly, but in the meantime, once again, we ask everybody for a great sense of responsibility.

MXGP is happy to keep running the FOX Holeshot competition trough the 20 rounds of the 2020 FIM Motocross World Championship season, together with MXGP partner FOX.

The way the competition works is; during both MXGP and MX2 races, the rider who crosses the white line painted on the ground at the exit of the first corner will be awarded 1 point. At the end of the season, the 2 riders, one per category, with the most FOX Holeshot points will win the mega prize!

At the MXGP of the Netherlands, taking place on the 8^th of March in the deep sand of Valkenswaard, it was Red Bull KTM Factory’s Jorge Prado and Jeffrey Herlings who got a good start each, crossing the white chalk line first to secure the FOX Holeshot on race one and two, respectively. While in MX2, it was Red Bull KTM Factory’s Tom Vialle who claimed both race one and two FOX Holeshot’s.

Vialle now leads the competition in MX2 with three holeshot’s, meanwhile in MXGP, Herlings, Prado, Henry Jacobi and Jeremy Seewer are all tied on one point. With a long season ahead, it will be interesting to see who wins the awesome FOX prize!
