ASSEN TO HOST THE 2027 MONSTER ENERGY FIM MOTOCROSS OF NATIONS, TICKETS ON SALE NOW

ERNÉE (France), 4 October 2026 - The road to the 2027 Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations has officially begun, with Assen, The Netherlands, confirmed as the host of next year's edition on 8, 9 and 10 October 2027.

As is tradition, the announcement was made during the current edition of the 'Nations' in Ernée, where the Dutch organisers showcased their ambitions with an impressive display, highlighted by a traditional windmill brought to the press conference, the icon of The Netherlands. It set the tone for an event that aims to capture the outstanding atmosphere that defines every Motocross of Nations, as the world's best nations prepare to battle for the Chamberlain Trophy in 2027.

The 2027 edition marks a return to Assen, which last hosted the event in 2019 at the same circuit. That weekend became a historic one for the home crowd, as Team Netherlands, led by Jeffrey Herlings alongside Glenn Coldenhoff and Calvin Vlaanderen, claimed the nation's first ever Motocross of Nations victory in front of a passionate Dutch crowd.

David Luongo President & CEO, Infront Moto Racing: "It is a great honour to be back in Assen for the Motocross of Nations. The Netherlands has been a country of motocross for many, many years, and they will have a very strong team. As you can see here in Ernée, the Nations grows bigger every year, and it is very hard to find a venue that can host it. There is no better place than Assen, known worldwide as the Cathedral of Speed and the heart of motorsport in northern Europe. I have no doubt we will see a typical Dutch track, with deep sand, very physical and very technical. Lee and his team have been organising events professionally for decades, and with the support of the KNMV, Assen is the perfect place to celebrate our sport at the end of the season."

Jorge Viegas, FIM President: "The Motocross of Nations is one of the most prestigious and hard-fought events on our calendar, with close to 40 nations taking part every year. It is a unique occasion where riders from every part of the world can line up alongside each other, and it is always an incredible celebration of our sport. I have every confidence in the organizer who I know from experience to be an excellent organiser, and the KNMV and the city of Assen have great experience in hosting events of this scale. Together with Infront Moto Racing, I am sure the Motocross of Nations in Assen will be a tremendous success. I hope we can welcome a crowd as passionate as the one here in Ernée, where fans have come from all over the world to make this weekend so special."

Lee van Dam, Assen Organizer: "We can't wait to welcome the teams, riders and, of course, all the fans back to Assen for the 2027 Motocross of Nations. After a successful edition in 2019, we're working with Infront on a new track layout to make 2027 even more exciting. Seeing the passion in Ernée this weekend only makes us more eager to bring the whole motocross family to the TT Circuit Assen in the Netherlands.”

Marco Out, Mayor of Assen: "I am very honoured to be here today. This organisation is doing a great job with this event, and the beautiful atmosphere you see here in Ernée is simply fantastic. It takes me back to 2019, when the Nations came to Assen for the first time. It was a great event for our city, and it was even attended by the King, which made it very special. Having the Motocross of Nations back strengthens our position as the motorsport capital of the Netherlands, home of the Cathedral of Speed. We would like to welcome all the athletes, all the teams, all the media and all the visitors back to Assen, and I am sure we will have a wonderful time again."

Wim Mulder, KNMV President: "It is a fantastic opportunity to show our country. We have a fantastic venue, it is perfect for the public, the infrastructure is great, and we keep investing in it. Of course, we will do our best to have the best possible team. We are always fighting with France for a podium, this weekend too, and I hope to be on the podium this weekend and next year as well. The preparations are on schedule. We have been working on this for almost two years, and I trust this is only the beginning of a fantastic event."

MEDIA DAY AND STUNNING TEAM PARADE KICKS OFF 2026 MONSTER ENERGY MOTOCROSS OF NATIONS!

Ernée (France) – 2nd October 2026 – The opening lines of the epic tale that will be the 2026 Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations have been written today, as the Circuit Raymond Deny venue near the town of Ernée in France hosted the opening Press Conferences and the all-important Ballot to determine the gate pick order for tomorrow’s crucial Qualifying Races! The valley then shook with excitement as the Teams Presentation ramped up the atmosphere for the weekend ahead!

At first, the event was opened by Infront Moto Racing President & CEO, David Luongo, alongside the FIM/CMS President Antonio Alia Portela, plus Philippe Lecompte, the President of Moto Club Ernée, who welcomed all of the teams, riders, and industry personnel present to the 79th Edition of this prestigious race, the fourth such event to be held around the hillsides of the Ernée. Their excitement for the event was shared in both English and French, as the anticipation grew for the infamous Ballot!

David Luongo, President & CEO, Infront Moto Racing:
"Ernée has a special place in our history. It was our comeback in 2005, when we brought the Motocross of Nations back to life with the American dream team, and it is quite magical that in four editions here we have always had the sun. This is also the last round of the celebration of our 30th anniversary with the FIM, so there is no better place to close the season. The Motocross of Nations is always open until the last race, and that is what makes all of us dream about this sport the whole year. With 32 nations, the MXGP and MX2 World Champions and the two SMX Champions on the gate, the level is very, very high, so good luck to all the nations, ride safe, and enjoy this last dance of the season."

Antonio Alia Portela, FIM/CMS Director:
"Coming to Ernée for the Motocross of Nations is the highlight of the whole year, so nothing is more exciting than being here. Looking down at the track from above the grandstand yesterday, you could almost hear the echoes of past events, and I already have the thrills just thinking about it. Having 32 nations from all over the world here shows the importance of this event, and the Moto Club Ernée has been preparing the track all year long. Now all the pressure is on the riders to stand out and finish on top of the podium with the famous trophy. I want to thank Philippe and his whole team, and I wish all the teams and riders the very best for the weekend."

Philippe Lecomte, President, Moto Club Ernée:
"Welcome to Ernée, we are delighted to host the Motocross of Nations for the fourth time in our history. I want to thank the FIM, the French Motorcycling Federation and Infront for their trust, and above all the 1300 volunteers who make this event happen. Thank you also to the town of Ernée, the community of communes and the Mayenne department, who have supported us in the good years and the less good years. The Motocross of Nations brings a lot to the club, but it brings even more to the region, especially for the local economy. 2023 is still in our memories and we really hope to live the same emotions again, and the weather has already given us a nice wink this weekend!”

BALLOT

As Mr Alia Portela took position on the stage to take care of the Ballot, the major teams gathered nervously to receive the news of where the random allocation for choice of gate would put them.

Team FIM Latin America were the first team to get a place allocated, but they were disappointed to immediately be given the 32nd and final gate pick for the Qualifying Races! Team Great Britain were the next out of the hat, given a mid-gate 18th position for their relatively inexperienced squad. Team Ukraine were the first team to get a top ten slot, straight into seventh pick, while the promising Team Denmark got put into 20th.

While Team Canada celebrated getting the fifth gate pick, Team Switzerland got 13th pick, but Team Italy were disappointed to get P28! Reigning Champions Australia got a brilliant third gate pick, then the luck of the Irish came through as Team Ireland claimed the second gate pick to aid their quest to qualify tomorrow!

Still to come were Team France, Team USA, Team Belgium, Team Netherlands, and Team Spain, but the Americans were not happy to see the number 26 come out next to their name!   In contrast, their southern neighbours Team Mexico got pick number one straight afterwards, then major contenders Belgium got a decent one with P8, with Team Latvia in P16.  The home team didn’t get the best with P22, while the Dutch took P17.

While Tim Gajser is unable to race for Team Slovenia this year, their hope of qualifying got a boost with the fourth gate pick, just before Team Estonia got the seventh choice.  Waiting right to the end, the highly-touted Spanish squad got left with a lowly 31st gate choice, second from last to the line!  So the drama continued right to the end, and it promises to be a fascinating line up for each of Saturday’s Qualifying Races!

TEAMS PRESS CONFERENCE

In the Teams’ Press Conference, Australia lined up first as defending Champions, and while they’re missing their winning riders from the last two years, #1 plate holder Jed Beaton was upbeat about their prospects of a good result, alongside Alex Larwood and Aaron Tanti who were all looking forward to their first Motocross of Nations experience.

Team Australia

Next up were the Spanish, one of the favourites for success this weekend, boasting three riders who have all taken Championships this season, as Jorge Prado returns to Europe to fly his national colours alongside MX2 World Champion Guillem Farres and EMX250 Champion Francisco Garcia. All three riders were looking relaxed and confident, hopeful of their chances for their nation’s first ever podium at this event.  In a similar fashion, Team Latvia brought their humorously downbeat demeanour to an event that could see their best ever result if all three riders perform to their best.

Team Spain

Following the Latvians, it was time to talk to those with some serious air travel distance under their belts, as Team Japan, Team South Africa, and Team Brazil all expressed their joy at being here, and for South African star Camden Mc Lellan, it was very much a case of seeing if they could justify the trip by qualifying for the main races, and trying to push for a top ten result at the very least!

Team USA were next to the stage, and despite the obvious complications of a late machine change for their most experienced pilot Cooper Webb, and the late replacement spot for Julien Beaumer, it’s clear that this team is relishing the position of being the underdogs for a change, and with a recent title lifting the confidence of MX2 rider Levi Kitchen, they are clearly not ready to be written off when it comes to their podium chances.

Team USA

Star man for the Dutch, MXGP World Champion Jeffrey Herlings was underplaying their chances of a win overall, but clearly has his sights set on individual success. In contrast, the Danish squad are looking for a solid team effort with two EMX stars being joined by Mikkel Haarup, who will return to the MXGP Paddock full time next year, and wants to give his future rivals a preview of what’s to come!

Then it was the turn of Team Italy to tell of their confidence, as Alberto Forato is very happy to return to a circuit that he has a real liking for, while Andrea Adamo has had a great rookie season in MXGP and is looking to finish it in strong fashion.  The Belgians are also looking good, and although the Coenen brothers rarely give anything away, it’s clear that Lucas Coenen is now ready to race for the first time in three months, and that gives them a real chance of the top step of the podium. They’re young, eager, and hungry for it!

1. Team Belgium; 2. Team Latvia

Finally, Team France expressed their desire to satisfy their home fans, and with Mathis Valin facing questions around his fitness due to several months away from racing, he has had five weeks of preparation prior to this weekend, so for sure he feels ready to back up his senior teammates Romain Febvre and Tom Vialle!

TEAM PARADE

The build-up to the event concluded, as always at the Nations, with the Team Presentation parade, held in front of the old podium at the end of the start straight, and the crowd made incredible noise throughout, made up as it is by multiple nationalities who have made the pilgrimage to this mecca for Motocross! Of course, the loudest cheer was held back for the home team, as master of ceremonies Francis Magnanou fired up the local fans, most of whom were in patriotic fancy dress, as they raised the noise level to deafening proportions!

The party will doubtlessly continue through the night, as the campsites rev up for the race weekend!  What goes on in there will probably beggar belief, but what we have all rediscovered so far is that there is simply no place like Ernée for the Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations!

WORLDWIDE TV COVERAGE – THE MONSTER ENERGY FIM MOTOCROSS OF NATIONS FROM ERNÉE IN FRANCE!

ERNÉE (France) 1 October 2026 – The biggest Motocross race in the world takes place this weekend, in the iconic amphitheatre of the Circuit Raymond Deny in Ernée, for the 79th Edition of the Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations, held for the eleventh time in France, one of the most passionate Motocross nations of all!

After monumental occasions in 2005, 2015, and 2023, the event comes to Ernée for the fourth time, and the expected madness will reach fever pitch as Team France pushes for its third straight win at this venue with one of the strongest teams, featuring former World Champions Romain Febvre and Tom Vialle, as well as MX2 GP winner Mathis Valin.

Reigning Champions Australia have an all-new line-up, consisting of their two National Champions, Jed Beaton and Alex Larwood, joined by Aaron Tanti who finished second to Beaton this year! Team USA’s last win outside of their home country was in France fifteen years ago, and Cooper Webb, Levi Kitchen, and late replacement Julien Beaumer will be hoping to spring a surprise to add a fifth win for the Americans on French soil!

Team Belgium have a strong team on paper, if Lucas and Sacha Coenen are able to replicate their early season speed alongside Liam Everts, and Team Netherlands will lean on their new World Champion Jeffrey Herlings to lead their charge towards the podium, as he is joined by Roan van de Moosdijk and Glenn Coldenhoff.

With the new MX2 World Champion, Guillem Farres, being joined by new SMX winner Jorge Prado and EMX250 Champion Francisco Garcia, Team Spain also look strong to at least challenge for their first ever Nations podium, if not the win! Surprise 2023 podium finishers Team Italy also field two of the riders from that squad, Alberto Forato and Andrea Adamo, and could be an outside bet for another great result with MX2 rider Ferruccio Zanchi making his Nations debut!

Of course, the true “Olympic” flavour is created with the presence of such far-flung nations as Japan, South Africa, Brazil, and Canada, and all 32 teams will compete in Saturday’s Qualifying Races, aiming to get through to the main races on Sunday to race for the historic Peter Chamberlain Trophy!

The coverage for the event starts with the live Ballot for gate picks on Friday morning, continuing with the Team Presentation on Friday afternoon, plus the unique Inside The Paddock show broadcasting between the races on both Saturday and Sunday, which will be aired LIVE and for free on YouTube!

Below you can find the full list of TV channels that will air LIVE and delayed action of the Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations, as well as the 26-minute Behind The Gate magazine show featuring the best moments from the races, exclusive interviews and more. The broadcast team of Paul Malin, Lisa Leyland, and Ben Rumbold will be joined by Fly Racing’s Jason Thomas for full coverage of this unique and fascinating event! All of this footage will be available worldwide on MXGP-TV.com and via our TV magazine partners following the event.

As always, MXGP fans can follow the races LIVE throughout the weekend. All you need to do is log onto www.MXGP-TV.com on Saturday and Sunday, from wherever you are in the world.  This includes the Inside The Paddock broadcasts as well as the three Qualifying Races on Saturday, the B-Final on Sunday, and of course the three big races on Sunday afternoon to decide who will win the title of World Team Champions! So get behind your own nation, tune in, and marvel at the atmosphere and the commitment of the top riders as they battle for their own country’s pride! There’s no event like it, and there’s no place for it like Ernée!

120 RIDERS SET TO TAKE ON 2026 YZ BLU CRU FIM EUROPE CUP SUPERFINALE AT ERNÉE

The 2026 YZ BLU CRU FIM Europe Cup SuperFinale will take place from October 2-4 alongside one of the biggest events on the motocross calendar – the prestigious 2026 Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations (MXoN) at Ernée, France.

120 of the most talented young riders from across the globe, representing 34 countries, will line up on the same track as the sport’s biggest MXGP stars from all over the world. Each of the future stars will be aiming for a coveted place in the exclusive YZ BLU CRU Masterclass, where they will receive expert coaching, mentorship, and compete for the ultimate prize of support from Yamaha in 2027.

The BLU CRU progamme has created a legacy of providing a clear, structured pathway for riders from grassroots competition through to the European MX Championships, MX2 and ultimately all the way to MXGP. Showcasing Yamaha Racing’s commitment to nurturing talent at all stages of a rider’s career, it sits at the very heart of Yamaha’s development pyramid and serves as the essential foundation where young riders can build the skills, experience and professionalism needed to progress through Yamaha’s racing ranks.

The 2026 YZ BLU CRU FIM Europe Cup will be hosted at one of the most iconic motocross tracks in the world – Ernée. Situated in the stunning Pays de la Loire region in France, Ernée is known for its hillside location providing natural elevation changes, creating a highly technical course across 1.6km of hard packed clay. It will provide plenty of technical challenges for the young riders, who will compete in front of Ernée’s expected 70,000 spectators across two days of competition, alongside the 79th edition of the 2026 Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations.

Showcasing increased international diversity, the 2026 edition of the YZ BLU CRU FIM Europe Cup will see riders from 28 different countries line up at the gates, with competitors travelling from as far afield as Canada, Brazil, Japan and Australia, as well as from European countries such as Sweden, the United Kingdom, Germany and Spain. The ever-growing presence of female competitors also showcases Yamaha’s commitment to nurturing inclusivity in the sport.

At the YZ BLU CRU FIM Europe Cup SuperFinale, the top three riders from each category, two wildcards and the top female competitor in each class, will earn a coveted spot at the exclusive YZ BLU CRU Masterclass. This two-day event offers expert training, mentorship, and a glimpse into the professional motocross environment, and it is where the eventual winners will be chosen. For the selected YZ125 winner, the ultimate reward is a ride with a Yamaha-supported team in the 2027 EMX125 Championship, while the winners picked from the YZ85 and YZ65 classes will receive Yamaha support and GYTR parts for the following season.

Set across the thrilling atmosphere of the biggest event in the MXGP calendar, the 2026 YZ BLU CRU FIM Europe Cup SuperFinale promises to be an electrifying showcase of skill, talent and ambition, as the best riders in the world compete for victory, aiming to make their mark on the international racing scene.

ALL EYES ON ERNÉE FOR THE 2026 MONSTER ENERGY FIM MOTOCROSS OF NATIONS!

ERNÉE (FRANCE) 30 September 2026 – It’s time for one more massive Motocross party to finish the season! The 2026 Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations is ready to go this weekend at the legendary Circuit Raymond Deny in the commune of Ernée in north-western France!  The 79th Edition of this remarkable event will be the eleventh held in France itself, and the fourth one to be run at this particular venue in the last 21 years!

From the epic Motocross of Nations weekends at Ernée in 2023, 2015, and that first one back in 2005, we know that the atmosphere for this event will be like no other!  Even better for the home fans is that Team France won both of the last two editions at this circuit, and they are one of the few leading Nations this year that are able to run their first choice of riders in all three categories!

Of the ten previous editions of this race held in France, Team USA has won the most, with four victories in 1988, 2000, 2005, and 2011. The two most recent wins have gone to the home squad, while Team Great Britain won the first two in 1960 and ’66. Team Belgium and Team Sweden have taken a win apiece on French soil, both in the 1970s. The Belgians also won the sole 250cc-only Trophée des Nations event to be held in France, in 1974.

Team Australia 2025

Team Australia come into this year’s event as defending Champions again, having been the only three-man team ever to win back-to-back Nations with exactly the same riders – Jett Lawrence, Kyle Webster, and Hunter Lawrence.  Sadly for the Aussies, none of those three are able to line up this year, but all credit to the team with one of the longest journeys to undertake, as they will still compete in 2026 with Jed Beaton wearing the #1 plate, returning to Europe with youngsters Alex Larwood and Aaron Tanti alongside him. The 28-year-old Beaton raced in the MXGP Paddock for six years between 2017 & ’22, picking up a best of fourth in the 2020 MX2 series. All three Australians are making their Nations debut in the green and gold!

Team USA’s last win outside of their home country was on French soil, at St Jean d’Angely in 2011, and injuries have hit their selection for this year’s event as Nations rookies Julien Beaumer and Levi Kitchen will join veteran Cooper Webb in trying to get the stars and bars to the top again.  Webb starts his fourth Nations, and his second at Ernée, still looking for his first team win after being part of the runner-up squad here in 2015, as well as at Matterley Basin in 2024.  He knows all about the cauldron of this French valley, but was the first to put his hand up to make the trip again!

1. Cooper Webb; 2. Team USA on MXoN Podium 2025

The home team probably start as favourites, racing with numbers 7, 8, and 9 and being two-thirds made up from the Kawasaki Racing Team!  Two-time World Champion Romain Febvre, in his seventh MXoN, is looking for his third team victory at this venue, and the fifth of his career, at the end of a season that saw him second in the World MXGP Championship.  Mathis Valin races his second Nations, on return from injuries sustained at the MXGP of Portugal in June.  He has been training hard specifically to be healthy for this weekend!  Tom Vialle, back in the World Championship this year for Honda HRC Petronas, takes on his first Nations with 450cc machinery after three MX2 rides, one of which was a winning experience here in 2023.  The two French 450cc riders, who have each won a GP here as well, have been the main challengers to World Champion Jeffrey Herlings in the last few weeks of the MXGP World Championship, and will look to raise the noise levels at Ernée with a stirring performance!

1. Team France 2023; 2. Romain Febvre; 3.Tom Vialle

Herlings will be looking to lift his Dutch team back up to the sharp end after two lowly results from the last three years.  It’s the tenth Nations appearance for “The Bullet”, and his last MXoN race win came at the 2021 event in Mantova, when Team Netherlands were defending Champions from their 2019 success after the 2020 event was cancelled.  This will be Jeffrey’s first taste of Nations madness at Ernée, where he won an MX2 GP in 2013, and his team will be wearing numbers 55, 56, and 57 after finishing 19th last year. He will be joined by fellow veteran Glenn Coldenhoff, competing in his 14th straight MXoN, but his first on an MX2 bike since 2014! Roan van de Moosdijk completes the Dutch line-up for his second Nations appearance, and his first on a 450 with KTM Kosak Team, set to go in the MXGP class while Jeffrey goes for Open class victory. Will they spring a surprise?

Jeffrey Herlings

One of the biggest question marks will be over Team Belgium, who return with the same squad that saw them finish fourth last year in the USA. Lucas Coenen picked up injuries in July and has not been at his usual devastating level since for Red Bull KTM Factory Racing.  Has he been able to recover well enough to be a factor at Ernée in his fourth straight Nations appearance?  His twin brother Sacha Coenen lines up for just his second MXoN in the MX2 class, while 22-year-old Liam Everts of Nestaan Husqvarna Factory Racing is again the senior member of the team in the Open class for his fifth appearance. Belgium hasn’t won since 2013, or been on the podium since 2019, so it would be a massive achievement if they could get up there again, as they did here in 2015 with third overall.

1. Lucas Coenen MXoN 2025; 2. Liam Everts MXoN 2025

One of the other leading contenders has to be Team Spain. With four-time MXGP World Champion Jorge Prado returning after taking his first title in the USA for Red Bull KTM Factory Racing, he could repeat his epic 2023 battles with Febvre to help the Spanish on their way, in a year when the nation has also won the WMX world title with Daniela Guillen, the MX2 world crown with Triumph Racing Factory Team’s Guillem Farres, and the EMX250 series with Francisco Garcia of BUD Racing Kawasaki.  The latter two line up in the MX2 and Open classes for the second year running, while Prado takes on the MXGP class for his eighth Nations start, eager to show his former rivals that he’s lost none of his speed!

1. Guillem Farres MXoN 2025; 2. Jorge Prado MXoN 2024

Team Italy were surprise podium finishers here with third in 2023, and two of that team return this year as Andrea Adamo tackles his first Nations on a Red Bull KTM Factory Racing 450 after four straight years in MX2, and he took second overall in last year’s MX2 GP here.  Alberto Forato is another returnee, a late replacement for the other 2023 team rider Andrea Bonacorsi. The Fantic Factory Racing MXGP man is well up for this fourth Nations appearance, while Ferruccio Zanchi makes his debut at the event on the Beddini Ducati Factory MX2 machine.

Outside bets for podium contention could include Team Latvia, and they feature Kawasaki Racing Team MXGP star Pauls Jonass, who won here in MX2 on the way to his world title in 2017, besides the two Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MX2 brothers Karlis and Janis Reisulis. The squad finished ninth last year and all three have had a better 2026 season.

1. Andrea Adamo; 2. Janis Reisulis

Team Switzerland could also have a good shot, as 2022 Ernée MXGP winner Jeremy Seewer races an MX2 Venrooy Racing KTM in his 14th Nations, while teammate Valentin Guillod is there in MXGP for his 15th Nations! In comparison, their young teammate Kevin Brumann starts on his MX-Handel Husqvarna for just the second time for his country!

Team Denmark haven’t seen the top five in the Nations since the 1960s, but that could all change this year as EMX250 chargers Mads Fredsoe and Nikolaj Skovbjerg line up alongside 2027 Triumph Racing Factory MXGP rider Mikkel Haarup! This team could spring a surprise with race numbers 58 to 60!

The MXGP Qualifying Race on Saturday will see some frantic action, as some riders go all-out to help their teams get through.  Jan Pancar aims to help Team Slovenia qualify on his TEM Racing KTM, sadly missing Tim Gajser who helped them to fifth last year!  Isak Gifting on the JK Racing Yamaha will make his presence felt for Team Sweden, while Fantic Factory Racing MXGP’s Jorgen-Mathias Talviku will attempt to lead Team Estonia into the main races! That class will feature Febvre, Prado, Lucas Coenen, Adamo, Beaumer, Karlis Reisulis, Van de Moosdijk, and Beaton, so that should be a hot one!

The leading MX2 class contenders get their only race against equal machinery on Saturday as well. The leading nations will pit World Champion Farres against Valin, Zanchi, Sacha Coenen, Levi Kitchen, Janis Reisulis, as well as Team South Africa’s Camden Mc Lellan, and new EMX125 Champion Ricardo Bauer for Team Austria. Watch for veterans Seewer and Coldenhoff to get amongst it with the kids as well!

The MX2 rider for Estonia continues a great family tradition worth mentioning, as Sebastien Leok becomes the fourth member of his family to compete for his country, after father Tanel, uncle Aigar, and great uncle Avo! Since Estonia’s first entry in the Nations in 1993, there have only been three events without a Leok present!

The Open class Qualifying Race should be a corker, as Herlings and Vialle will compete for another Holeshot after sharing most of them at the end of the MXGP season! Webb, Everts, Forato, Jonass, Garcia, Haarup, and British GP stalwart Ben Watson will all be in the mix as the top 19 Nations qualify automatically, while the other 13 will head to a packed B-Final to decide the last spot in the main races!

Will there be surprise results for such far-flung nations as Team Brazil, Team Japan, or even Team Morocco? The “Olympics of Motocross” will see all of the competitors push to their maximum in front of the biggest crowd of the entire season!
